Activities & Opportunities
Thursday Nights @ CSF
Thursday Nights are for all students to join together for a [free] hot
dinner, interactive worship, open discussion, and genuine fellowship.
Student reflections, worship music, discussion groups, guest speakers,
creative skits and engaging activities are all common components of Thursday
Nights.
CSF normally meets from 6:45–8:30 pm in the Family Life Center of First
Baptist Clemson and students are always welcome to bring friends. Either a
short walk from Bowman Field or a short drive to the Downtown Parking Deck
(carpooling is encouraged) – both are great ways to get to CSF each week.
Small Groups
Each semester there are new small groups that meet to discuss all things
life and faith. Some meet on camps or in apartments while others meet
downtown or in the FBC College Lounge. The studies vary from semester to
semester and are led by students or the campus minister.
Calendar of Events
For an updated calendar of events, download the latest brochure or visit
www.clemsoncsf.com.
The College Lounge is open just for students. It is located on the
2nd floor of First Baptist Clemson and has all things needed for students to
study or relax: wireless access, snacks, couches, tables, a printer, Direct
TV, and both a Super NES and a Nintendo Wii.
Student Luncheons are free hot meals offered to all students and
their families following specific Sunday worship services (10:30-11:30 am).
The meal is provided by the church host, the College Committee, and various
Sunday School classes. The luncheon dates for this fall are:
August 23, August 30, September 20, October 18, November 1, and December 6.
College Chorale is an excellent opportunity for musically-gifted
students to be a part of First Baptist Clemson’s music ministry, led by Rev.
Robert Gammon (a university faculty lecturer). Rehearsal times and worship
participation for this vocal ensemble are coordinated each new semester.

Sunday School meets weekly from 9:30-10:15 am in the College Lounge.
Breakfast is provided each week and the discussions are led by Dr. Neil
Burton (CSF faculty advisor).
Student Adoption is a support system rooted in the wider family of
faith. Interested students are paired with ‘adoptive families / individuals’
in First Baptist Clemson who commit to supporting the student through
personal and faithful encouragement.
Student Membership is offered for all students who want an
intentional affiliation with First Baptist Clemson without transferring
membership from a home church. This is a great way for students to become
more connected to the life and ministry of the wider church family.
