Cooperative Efforts

The church has representatives who serve on several local Clemson rea service organizations. These include CCIT, CCC, Clemson Child Development Center, and the Clemson Free Clinic.

ESL

English as Second Language Church members teach English as a second language at the church. Typically, classes are Monday and Tuesday at 9:30am. Interested individuals may contact the Church office at 654-2347.


The Brethren

The Brethren Church members provide transportation services to those in need. Typically, these services are used when someone needs transportation to a doctor or other service. Those in need of this service may call the Church office at 654-2347 to schedule a ride.
Local Benevolence


Family Services

 During Bereavement Both Sunday School Classes and the Family Services Committee provide support for families losing loved ones. Generally these services include meal service at needy times. Typically these services are arranged directly with the Family Services Committee or a deacon.

Short Term Local Need

The Church supports individuals with short term need through donation of food, fuel, lodging, or transportation. Referrals are received from Clemson Community Care. Funds used in the project are from the Dennis Crawford collection taken at each communion service.

Meals on Wheels

The Clemson area contact center for Meals on Wheels is First Baptist Church. While members of this church participate in delivery, coordination and participation comes from a wide variety of organizations. For additional information on Meals on Wheels in Clemson, call the church at 654-2347.
