Children's Covenant
CHILDREN’S COVENANT
The Children’s Ministry of First Baptist Church of Clemson covenants
with the children and their families to:
Provide a comprehensive, well-balanced program of Bible study and
application, fellowship activities, service and mission
opportunities, and spiritual formation for the children and their
families of First Baptist Church:
Discipleship - Opportunities to study the Bible for a better
understanding of God's word.
Spiritual Formation - Opportunities to experience a deeper relationship with God by learning and practicing spiritual disciplines.
Worship - Encourage active participation in worship within the church and individually.
Service -Opportunities to serve their church, community, and the world by actively participating in service and mission endeavors.
Fellowship - Opportunities to understand the world around them through Christian fellowship activities.
Outreach - Opportunities for outreach to inactive church members and non-church members.
Inreach - Promote interaction with other children in the
children's FBC fellowship.
Children's Mission Education
Children's Mission Education which has been our RA and GA programs
in the past has a new face and new time. The new face is a blended
program with a change in our mission resource material and the new
time is on Sunday morning during Sunday School rotating our mission
material with our Sunday School program. Our new material has been
developed by the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship.
