2007-2008 Associate Pastor of Students & Outreach, Gayton Baptist Church (Richmond, Virginia)
• Direct & lead a youth ministry reaching over 85 teens and their families, including various programs and events, studies, worship, and mission opportunities
• Initiate and develop an intentional college ministry that is relevant and engaging, including discipleship studies and a collegiate summer retreat
• Guide the church through the process of developing local and global mission partnerships
• Envision and implement community outreach events, including the establishment of a 5K challenge in conjunction with a church festival
• Organized and implemented a new model of youth leadership that enables additional quantitative and qualitative growth

• Led the congregation in the coordination and practice of pastoral care
