KEENAGER TRIP
The September Keenager meeting is planned for a trip to Billy Graham's "The Cove" to attend SeniorSalt Sings, a worship opportunity with old hymns. The trip is planned for Tuesday, September 21, 2010 and is a day, bus trip (first 24 who register). The cost of the trip is $25 each and includes the program, buffet lunch and transportation. Payment is required when the reservation is made and is not refundable, but is transferrable. Those interested should contact the church office to make a reservation.

Tai Chi—Summer Classes

Upstate Holistic Health will offer Tai Chi Classes, Mondays @ 7:00pm for families and individuals. This group will be meeting in the basement during the summer. Beginners welcome!

Get your tool belts on!

We need all volunteers “geared up” and “primed” to go on the Chapman Habitat house in Central beginning in June! See DeWayne or Sharon Brooks to book your workday before they’re all gone! We’ll be working Saturday mornings and Wednesday evenings all summer long.

New Sunday School Class for Young Professionals. Neil Burton will be teaching this Sunday morning Bible study beginning at 9:15 AM. The class will meet in the basement in room B-5 (across from the Kardia Class).

Sign up to be part of the Intercessory Prayer Team. We will staff the prayer room during office hours.

Dates to rembmber: Bible School 2010 is July 18 - 21

Connection Board: The youth and college students have an information board where they will post the jobs they are able to do such as babysitting and yard work. We are calling this board the Connection Board which is located in the hallway behind the sanctuary on the wall by the collection boxes. If you have need of a babysitter, yard work, handyman, etc., take a look on the Connection Board to see if anyone is available to work for you. You can also place needs on the board and someone may be able to offer you their services.

STUDENT ADOPTION; If you would like to "adopt a student" please call the Church office.

News from your Resource Committee

A link to our library has been added on the FBC home page! Our plans are to feature a title each month as well as some new additions. Please check us out online! Our library could really use a slender table and a chair or two. Perhaps someone is moving or downsizing.

CD MINISTRY

The church has converted to CD recordings of the worship services. This will replace the tape ministry. If you routinely desire a CD of the worship services, please call the church office and request to be placed on the list to receive these weekly. CD's will also be available on a single request basis. Cost ofeach CD is $1. You are reminded that sermons are posted on the church web site at firstbaptistclemson.com each week and a copy of the weekly worship CD is available in the church library for check-out.
